Dazeout in the news!

Glossop entrepreneurs Dazeout.com have a mission. To bring Glossop - the gateway to the Derbyshire dales and peak district back on the map. As residents of Glossop, home of the Victorian weekend and phenomenal stunning local walks.

Dazeout noticed a lack of tourist appeal as there is very limited information available to visitors. With challenges like heavy traffic, local tourist information spots closing, the heritage centre closing, how are people going to find out about our lovely towns.

Bulls Head Guest House

The Bulls Head is the oldest pub in Glossop and over the back door is a stone lintel which bears the date 1607, unfortunately covered over by a modern wooden veranda.

Chatsworth House
Our events programme in 2010 is full of old favourites and new ideas. The annual Country Fair, described by Alan Titchmarsh as the country's 'best outdoor show' takes place annually at the end of the summer holidays; our international horse trials in May offers a lovely spring family day out in the glorious landscape of the park; the Tudor Fair will return to the garden in May, and we will have further mysteries to reveal in our third summer of secrets and surprises.
